BMI Alumni Executive Club community hosted a conversation with former Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis. We explored the many faces of Europe, the nuances beyond black-and-white thinking, and discussed how perspectives shift just a few steps southwest of us. Reflecting on today's context, we were reminded of Charles de Gaulle's words about a leader’s essential duty to fully grasp important circumstances — a sentiment that resonates deeply with our club’s purpose. Quoting one of Europe’s leaders known for his skepticism towards American hegemony feels especially symbolic today. History, without a doubt, is far from over.
