BMI Alumni Tennis Tournament: from Dust to Rainfall

Nearly 20 tennis fans from the BMI Alumni community gathered on Sunday to mark the end of the 2015 clay season at the Bernardinai garden courts in Vilnius. It took 36 matches to find out who are the best tennis players, plus a few pints of beer to celebrate these findings.

Bernardinai garden was full of emotions from early morning till the afternoon rainfall. At that point it was then announced that the victor in the Master group was Igoris Ryklys (class VI), who defeated Darius Jasinskis (class VI) in the final. They shared the podium with third-place winner Donatas Dudonis (class XIII).

Serves, volleys and slices also gripped the participants of the Challenger group. And it was Tomas Valiukevičius (class XII) who defeated all other participants to win the main trophy. Aurimas Zimnickas (class XVI) was the other finalist, and Aivijus Čerauskas (class XIII) took third place.

Tournament organizers are especially thankful for sponsors who provided beverages for the participants and awarded the winners of the competition with great prizes:
